World trick Shot Specialist David Edwards to perform to lucky Egyptian Open Pro-Am participants on October 19th at Mirage City.

David Edwards will perform a 45 minute master class of trick shots on the driving range prior to the Pro-Am shotgun start for Pro-Am competitors only.

Regarded as the “best Trick Show Entertainer in the world”. Those are not the words of David Edwards - but the view of the 'voice of golf' Peter Alliss.

It takes a lot to impress the old sage of television's commentators. But after watching David in action, he confessed: "During my life in the world of golf I've seen most of these trick shows and David Edwards ranks alongside the very best. "Amusing and informative, his skills will enhance any golf day." No surprise then that David has taken his talent onto a world wide stage.

He has already performed his show in China three times this year. He has been in demand in more then 20 different countries - including recent trips to Brazil and the United States.

David's show is unique - and he has performed it in some unique places, including the deck of the QE2 in the bay of St Andrew's.

A former European Tour player himself, David has developed into a master trickster after a career that took him to all the top European events - including the British Open.

His skills as a professional leave you in no doubt that his incredible talent for difficult and spectacular shots will inspire his audience.

David is a world record holder his with famous Scissor Hands shots - hitting 310 balls in just three minutes.

A natural communicator and showman, he has appeared on TV National, BBC, Sky, The Golf Channel and TV Stations worldwide.

He has written Coaching articles and appeared in many of the leading Golf Magazines which include Golf World, Today's Golfer, Fore, National Club Golfer and Golf Links.

He operates with an array of unlikely props, such as claw hammers, hosepipes, fishing rods and many more, his fantastic feats of skill, timing and judgement are breathtaking.

One of the highlights is where he dispatches a ball from a tee held in the mouth of a willing member of the audience lying on the ground.

The show can be tailored to suit any event. A popular feature is ‘on course’ video coverage of guests. David records the varying performances of the guests and plays them back at the end of the day with a voice-over steeped in his dry sense of humour.

On Course Pro-AM Commentary

Pro-AM participants will also enjoy the David Edwards' brilliantly witty video film show. David will film all golfers on the course to capture those magic - and not so magic moments!!

Whether it's a fabulous chip to the green or putt to win the hole - you could find yourself on the big screen afterwards.

But beware - so too could those embarrassing moments in the bunker or the bushes. It's all part of the after-dinner entertainment.

David makes sure he knows the name of every player and captures them in action on film accompanied by some of his own inimitable on-course commentary!

"What I film is all un-edited and during the dinner at the end of the day we play it back on a big screen," said David.
